Where did your Macbook ship from?

I got the impression that Macbooks were all shipped from China. Mine appears to be shipping from California. I ask because I was hoping to get newer stock, which would be implied if shipped direct from the PRC.

Never mind. While the shipping notification said it was shipping from Cal, Fedex tracking shows it in China. Situation normal.

China for me. I ordered the nano second the store opened back up that day. Came to me about 4 days later or so.

Maybe I'll change the topic somewhat, since I think they're all shipping from the PRC.

I'm wondering one factory is producing more defective units (ie: heat, "mooing", etc) then the other. Post your ship from location and if you have any defects.
