Hey,
Im thinking of getting a macbook pro soon, dont know if ill get it now or wait till january. Im in my final year in college and doing a thesis but I wont be typing it up until after xmas so i think ill prob wait till January.

Anyways, it seems pretty expensive to buy the 4GB of RAM from Apple themselves so Im thinking of buying it somewhere else after I get the Macbook Pro. Im from Ireland so where can i get the ram?? Online or are there any stores around???

Cheers,

Shuffles.

Crucial have a UK area, they sell 2GB sticks for £58. I couldn't tell you off the top of my head if they deliver to Ireland though.

Crucial.com/uk

Edit: Whooa, okay, they sell 4GB for £85 now. I missed that memo. Prices drop fast these days!

Cool, cheers. Also, is it hard to install the RAM? Would i need someone to do it for me and will it void my guarantee ???

RAM is easy to install. There are a lot of videos on youtube that show it being installed. Another good place to get ram is OWC.
