cb911 macrumors 601 Mar 12, 2002 4,134 4 BrisVegas, Australia Jun 7, 2004 #4 you can open whatever ports you want from System Preferences>Sharing>Firewall. just make a new entry there and specify what ports you want open. that opens the ports on your Mac. also if you have a router you'll need to open the ports on it as well, and forward them to your Mac. you can also use different ports it doesn't really matter i think.
