Are you talking about music you synced yourself or songs downloaded from the streaming service? The streaming part, if it's anything like Spotify offline downloads, doesn't download the actual full song.

Yea, pretty sure that doesn't get physically placed on your device. You didn't buy the song. You just paid for the service of streaming it.
