I'm intrigued.

I looked-up Bill Gates' house on Google Earth expecting to see a massive mansion in an expanse of green fields, forests and lakes. But no. It looks like a large house on an estate! Not what I'd choose if I had billions in the bank.

Google bill gates house :)
It's a technological marvel, and many articles were written about it.

I believe he's pointing out that you mis spelled Mr. JOBS' last name. Only 1 "b" my friend :)

Krypton. I have his address.

Seriously, I'd assume it's somewhere in Cupertino/San Francisco. They have their closed, wealthy communities the same as LA.

Bill Gates pays $1 million in taxes for the house every year, it's that big. "Large house" is a little bit of under-estimation.

Steve Jobs owns the Jackling House. He wants to tear it down so he can build a modern, small house, but nut cases are preventing it. Steve Jobs lives in a decent sized house, not a compound.

Okay, I'm confused. You say Waverley Street, but the photo shows Santa Rita Ave.

youre right to be confused

santa rita avenue is the side entrance to the home, where cars are parked and also a large and cool looking garden

waverley street is the front door and postal address, with apple trees planted in rows

:)

(good friend of the family)

Bill Gate's home is cool and all, but it seems a bit like Windows.
Can look kinda cool, but not necessarily a overall plan!

A GOOG search for 'Steve Jobs Waverley Palo Alto' will turn up the exact address. Out of respect for Dear Leader, I won't post it here, but it's not much of a secret. :) Armed with the exact street address, you'll then be able to explore it on Google Maps if you like.

The more burning question is actually: "What does Steve Jobs' refrigerator contain?" :D

Somehow I don't think he would want you posting about his house if you were? Just my inferences on his personality regarding publicity.

Well, the posted photo was a screenshot from Google Maps... And his home address is easily found online, so it's really not much of a secret. It also appears he has appropriate personal security measures in place, so I doubt it's a particular concern. His biggest personal security concern is probably the risk of encountering road rage on California's notoriously clogged freeways during rush hour. :D

My point was more directed at the "secretness"
