This has happened to me many times already when I click on a play button on a video it looks like a file is flying from the middle of the video screen to the lower left side then it disappears from view.

I'm wondering if that file gets saved and if so to where?

do you have a dual-screen setup? either way, it could be opening on a second real (or 'phantom') screen. or is this just a minimized window, ie in youtube?

i've seen the 'phantom second screen' thing before; don't remember the fix. but first, as casperes1996 asks, "which player?"...

What video player? Sounds a bit strange

I'm using safari and it happens more when I watch YouTube videos.

No I don't use dual screens.

It happens when I click on the play button and move the mouse at the sametime sort of like a click and hold.

it sounds like youtube's picture-in-picture function, only... on my mac, it sends a minimized window to the bottom right.

so i think your mac 'thinks' there is a second monitor; but not sure how to fix that. anyone? or google the issue, ie:

mac thinks there are 2 monitors...

That's not it at all what I am experiencing.

This looks like the icon of a file that I click play in the middle of the video screen it flies to the bottom left.

I was able to take a picture of it really quick. I think it happens whenever I click play and move the mouse at the sametime. When click on the play button that file moves to the bottom left to the play in the menu bar of the video.

It looks like you're effectively dragging the play button, so it's 'iconising' the image and letting you drop it somewhere. If you don't drop it anywhere (e.g. on the desktop) then it'll disappear without saving.
