Where does Wikipedia get their dates?

I was just looking at Wikipedia's iPhone page and it showed release time-periods for unannounced areas for the release of iPhone.

USA: June 29, 2007
South Africa: September 2007
Europe (previously announced): Q4 2007
Australia: Q1 2008
Japan (Asia) {previously announced}: 2008
Mexico: 2008
Brazil: 2009

Has there been any evidence to the unannounced dates, or is it just pure speculation?

Wikipedia doesnt get dates!
The editor gets dates,
if you find that something is wrong, you fix it!
That is how wikipedia works!
