Where has my download gone?

Yesterday, I download Folder Colorizer from the App Store and installed it, leaving the icon on the dock. Today, I found that it was no longer on the dock and I cannot find the actual download, which consisted of the app and user instructions. The app can still be found in Applications, but not the instructions. Any ideas, please? Oh, when I looked in the apps store, the price had increased by £1. Thanks in advance.

If you downloaded it from the App Store it will be in the Applications folder. You can then drag it to the dock for it stay there permanently.

Here are the instructions for the app on their website, it sounds like you open the app and drag the folder you want to color into it.
