Is it just me or has Apple removed the ability to view an app’s in-app purchases in the App Store before buying or downloading it? I’m having a hard time trying to find them!

If so, what is Apple’s reasoning? Have they figured out that a lot of people, such as myself, base their decision whether to purchase or download an app that has IAPs on whether that app has scammy “consumable” IAPs or fake in-game currency shenanigans for example? Are they sensitive to the development about loot boxes being deemed illegal gambling in some countries (and rightly so)? What if I want to view the price of unlocking ads, expansions or other non-scammy IAPs from developers that have credibility and aren’t morally corrupt vultures like those that make consumable IAPs (which Apple happily supports)?

This is not helping the App Store. I want to make an informed choice before wasting my time with a game that pushes me towards pay-to-win in-game consumables, currencies or loot-boxes.

If I’ve made a mistake and it’s there I apologise and I’ll update my post, but Apple is doing a really good job of hiding them! Can anyone help to confirm the situation?

I started a similar thread in ios12.
It is so bizarre but I checked at 2pm this afternoon and they weren't there then had a note from somebody responding to the thread at 5:45 and the IAP'S are now back.

If you read the thread you will see that I made the same type of comments as you.....

Thanks for the replies. Yes I see they’ve now returned.

I wish there was a way to hide every game or app (they’re mostly games) that use “consumable” IAPs.

Simonmet agree with you but there then would probably be very little displayed in Apps store.... :)
Which part of Sydney do you live in?
I am a kiwi and we lived in Sydney for a few years but have now been living in Chicago for the past 20 years.
