iPad Where is Apple News?

iPad OS here: Can‘t find Apple News app at all. It‘s not pre-installed on my iPad Pro. It doesn‘t even show up in the App Store.

What gives? Where is it?

Are you in Australia, Canada, UK or USA? Those are the only countries it's available in currently.

Strangely, when I activated a fresh new iPhone 11 in Japan, it has Apple news in the sidebar.

News should be available pretty much anywhere. It’s only News+ that is limited to specific regions.

Yeah I'm in Europe. But why can I get Apple News on my MBP but not on iPad? Just really strange.

Set the region under General,Language & Region to the United States
The news app will appear
