where is downloaded update file?

Hi, guys. I wanted to update my OS to 10.5.6 with auto update. When I was downloading the update file, the internet disconnected for a while but it finished at last. Then the system failed to be updated with message" the file is damaged". I want to download again but the auto update always showed that the update file already downloaded and the system is updated with the damaged file. What should I do? how to deleted the downloaded message and let the system download again? where is the downloaded updated file? THanks of ur help ahead.

There are two versions.

Just download the file again as per link/suggestions above - should sort it out.

Thank you guys. It doesn't work. The same message" the media is damaged, try to use different..........". Don't know why.
