Where is my hard drive?

I am new to the Mac so please keep it dumbed down please. Where is my hard drive located? How do I access it?

You want to reindex spotlight, In Finder click on Finder in the MenuBar, then click preferences, a window like the one below show up and check the appropriate box next to it.
