Where is Safari?

When I received my ipad, I plugged it in for charging & got the msg for installing 11.03 which I did. I've installed Firefox as my web browser & decided to check if Safari has improved (I still have the mid 2011 Mac Mini).

Don't see Safari on the ipad. Did a search at the app store for safari & got lots of hits BUT NO safari. So the reason for this dumb question from a new ipad owner.

Did you move it to a folder accidentally? In the home screen swipe down and search for Safari in Spotlight.

Sorry everyone; false alarm. I thought the "compass" icon was for location services; found the relation to safari browsing the setup thing. After some playing with safari, still prefer Firefox which is more flexible for doing what I want & when.

Lol I could imagine someone not knowing what safari is seeing that icon and thinking it was something else.
