Hi guys, i think i may be able to create an untethered iphone 3gs jailbreak if i can find this file, apple moved the file, so if i could just have some information on this, i might be able to copy the code into the new location, or create my own. thanks in advance!

Where is the iBoot or BootRom folder located?

I don't think you quite understand the complexity of this matter. The bootrom is not in a folder. It is not in the filesystem at all. It is stored on a silicon chip which is flashable only at the factory. You cannot replace, move or reprogram the bootrom. Interaction with the bootrom is very limited...it responds to only a very few commands.
I commend your enthusiasm, but I think once again that you are setting your sights a little high. Indeed, if you were a hacker capable of doing what you hope to do, you wouldn't need to ask this question at all!

well see, its not that i dont think im not capable of doing it, i just needed a few background information on this, such as how they hacked it the other times, and maybe now i can incorporate my own hack into the new iboot, wherever apple moved it too. i know that apple switched the chips dont get me wrong, i just thought it was accessible via ssh. a little more information on geohot and the dev teams attempts at this would be nice. im always up for a challenge.

If this was gonna be something manageable, then it would have been done and released already. Even GeoHot has not tackled this yet.
Are you sure you aren't the same person as "iPhonePwned" on Twitter ? He boasted of an untethered jailbreak and when GeoHot called him out, he pulled down his Twitter page and disappeared.

no i dont even have a twitter lol. i just want to know how to access the bootrom. if you dont know how, then dont post, but if u do know how, then please post.
The only way to acces it is to dump it. However, that requires literal disassembly of the iPhone and the destruction of the chip. Also, there is a high chance for failure.
Like others have said, it ain't a file you can copy/paste. You can only interact with it.
