No one seems to have mentioned that while a lot of the apps look better the main app that a lot of workers/students might use on a tablet - a note app - is hardly improved at all.

OneNote is quite good (sorry msoft haters) - notes on iPad lookas rubbish as iPhone which dont even sync on MobileMe - only via iTunes.

Real missed opportunity here.

Of course Evernote might be amazing - but you would think Apple would want their own???

Even if they brought it out as an iWork app for 9.99 it might be something.
 
This is a good point. Onenote is one of Microsoft's best programs ever. Intuitive, fast, good for both casual and serious work.

Evernote sucks badly in comparison.

Apple should release something as good, or otherwise pay to license Onenote so we get an Apple version.

Without a program as good as Onenote for the iPad, I see only more fail for this device.
