Can someone tell me where the terminal app in recovery mode? I need to enter a command to enable my roxio video capture. I have the command line, it is not appearing like in previous versions Thanks in advance....

In the Recovery app, choose Utilities > Terminal. To return to the Recovery app, choose Terminal > Quit Terminal.

All I see a disk utility app. is it hidden? Don't see it in the ribbon..... The recovery mode for a intel-based iMac, I know it to be power on while holding command+r.

Repeating from post #2, it's in Utilities > Terminal. (He actually quoted from this support document) When we write Utilities > Terminal, we are referring you to the Utilities menu.

RESOLVED: I found it, I haven't used it years. Entered command and now my device is working....Thanks for your help... you are right.
