iPod Where is the unchecking?

Is it me or did Apple get rid of the ability to check and uncheck songs with v10?

It still works for me in iTunes 10.

The only thing i can find any hint of it is if in the grid view if i right click there is an option to uncheck selection, but it does nothing. Also there is nothing shown in the music tab of the sync menu either.

Never-mind i found the answer. There is an option in the preference menu to turn the check boxes on or off.
