By now you should know that EA is the suckiest company when it comes to anything having to do with Apple. It will be there when it gets there, and sadly, there's nothing we can say or do to change their minds.

Not just Apple, pretty much anyone who's not Microsoft. They're pretty bad with the PS3 as well. They'll make a game for the 360 (Microsoft, of course...), then port it over to the PS3 and not even try to make it good. Although they have been getting better.

Yeah, but they seem to have some sort of special dislike of all things Apple. They don't even pretend to do anything close to helpful in terms of customer service and do a particularly bad job with porting to Mac. I have Battlefield 2142 and love the game, but have had to get used to it crashing and freezing up.

I would admit, Microsoft does make decent products, the xbox being one of their top 5 (my opinion). I would much rather own the Microsoft xbox 360 rather than the Sony PS3, Xbox has been out longer and has been a much more reliable product (in my eyes). Whether or not it is foreseeable that the PS3 will become a better known product and with it will come better products, I don't know I would more than likely say yes, it will get better. Anyway getting way off the iphone subject.

What I don't understand is, why are people making it like the iPhone is a gaming device, I understand it's a smartphone but it's still a phone There's really little to no point in making all these games for the phone, they just waist battery life and memory. Aside from games to give you to do something when you're bored I understand that (solitaire). But the full on gaming thing is what gets me. That's what I see in my mind. and is totally my opinion

I'm pretty sure it's not coming out until AT LEAST the 6th of december (saturday) SoHo is having an event from EA where they are previewing that game along with Sim City. You should go, there's also the Gizmodo Gallery 2 miles away. I'm going.

I remember waiting for Spore too. I remember in 2005 I was thinking that they might release it soon. Of course not. EA delays products to improve them. I think Spore would be a much more complicating (and probably worse) game. Patience is a virtue when it comes to computing.

At least Spore Origins came out a few days after the rollout of the desktop game.

Having to wait for the iPhone version of Need For Speed is disappointing to say the least. Especially when the demo has been on YouTube for months.

I know EA Mobile is trying to position itself for Christmas sales. But, at this point I'm a little more interested in gameloft's new Ferrari game. Let's see who can come out with the game first and which will hold my interest.

I want this damn game... and I want it now.

I've had a $15 gift card burning a hole in my Inbox for quite some time. There was a problem with my iTunes account and Apple was nice enough to grant me a gift for my troubles.

I've waited. Since September. To buy this game.

September.

I missed out on Enigmo and Cro-Mag Rally for 99 cents so I can be sure I own it the instant it is available. I'll be hitting up the Christmas sales if NFS isn't out by then.

Come on EA, any day now. :(

Looks like you'll be waiting quite a while still.

Quote from another forum:

"Electronic Arts has announced that it will be holding public previews of its upcoming iPhone and iPod touch titles Need for Speed Undercover and SimCity at select Apple retail stores in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago. According to the company, the events will give users a chance to “test drive” the games before launch. The previews will be held on Dec. 6 at 3:00 p.m. at the Apple Store in SOHO, NYC, Dec. 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Third Street Promenade Apple Store in Santa Monica, CA, Dec. 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the Apple Store on Stockton Street in San Francisco, and on Dec. 20 at 2:00 p.m. at the Apple Store on North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, IL."

So it's looking more like a January release date.
