iOS Where to ask generic architecture questions on StackOverFlow

I need to get some help regarding some pretty subjective opinion based questions regarding the architecture of my app.

For example.
How should I retrieve iOS message data from the watch extension using WatchConnectivity?

These are not problem specific questions and will get voted down on SO.

So what do you recommend? Just use the SO Engineering forum?

I dont Think there’s. Perfectly appropriate place for that on Stack. Whilst there’s less activity there, The Apple developer forum would probably be the most appropriate forum.

Your example question seems like something that would be well documented into development documentation though.

Yeah. There've been some treads asking if there should be opinionated fora, but as far as I know there still isn't one.
