Where to buy Mac Guitar Hero 3?

I'm really looking foward to this game coming in a few days. But I haven't found a place to buy the Mac version.

I checked the mall EB Games / Gamestop and they didn't know there was a Mac version.

I called the Apple Store at the mall and they didn't know if they were getting it.

I check Amazon and Bestbuy.com and the version there is labeled as a Windows Vista/XP, Macintosh version. The box art on Amazon just has a PC tag on it. While the box art at Bestbuy.com has a PC and Mac tag on the box.

Is the game going to have both Mac and PC versions on the disk similar to World of Warcraft? Also, Walmart has the release date as 11/13. I'm assuming they don't know what they are talking about.
 
it is the Windows and Mac version on the same disc. Best Buy will have it on Sunday if you want to buy it in store. heard this from someone that works for Best Buy, they already have them in stock, just can't sell until Sunday.
 
I was hanging onto my iPhone credit, hoping to use most of it on GH3 at the Apple Store. Online-chat-guy at Apple Store was no help. He wasn't aware of the game, and couldn't tell me whether Apple Store would stock it. :(

Guess I'll just have to wait/see.
 
looks like most best buy and compusa stores don't have it in stock today :( i'm bummed. my bb source said most stores should have it, but none by me do. they're showing 1-2 week delivery for online purchases and amazon shows 2-3 weeks. maybe it was slightly delayed? or maybe they just don't think there'll be a huge demand for it so stores didn't get it? anyone have any luck finding one today?
 
FYI, looks like the game is now coming out on Nov 13th :( Both WalMart and GameStop are saying it ships on the 13th, so that's the date I'm assuming it'll be out. Best Buy's site also now says "Pre-Order" again, Amazon says 2-3 weeks, and CompUSA just says "Pickup Only" but all stores show out of stock. Looks like us Mac/PC players will need to wait another couple weeks. That sucks. I was hoping I could have it before I go on a trip next week and see just how mobile and fun the game can be with a keyboard :D (I've tried Frets On Fire and it was damn hard with a laptop keyboard in my opinion).

Guess my source at Best Buy was just making up stuff. Damn him.
 
wow thats horrible that a game like that requires so much I remember DDR for pc only required like a pentium 233 and 64 megs of ram LOL . Sure the game has more video scenes then ddr but still seems like a huge system requirement list for such a game.
 
Wow, I didn't know that there was going to be a Mac version!
I wanted to get the Wii version but I might get this instead... :)
 
With my iMac and GH3 I can finally use my maciness to progress past the tutorial and by the end of the school year, be able to play "Through Fire and Flames" on expert, gotta learn, gotta man....
 
The lastest info I have heard is it will be released on a hybrid (Mac/PC) disk on December 10th. It certainly took Aspyr long enough. I hope it gets released on time.
