Hi, all. I have an iPhone 2g the first model and I want to downgrade it back to it's original firmware that it shipped with. I'm assuming it's iOS 1 or something, does anyone know where I can find the IPSW for this?

Thanks

Please elaborate.
I too would like to downgrade my iPhone 2G back to 1.X

What was the procedure you used to do so?

you should be able to restore to 1.x as long as you have the ipsw as there was no such security checks back then

Wrong. There are security checks. It is called the Baseband mismatch error (150x range errors)

This error happened because the higher version of the baseband did not match the lower version of the software it was supposed to go with. In other words prevents downgrading.

You could have higher version software and lower version baseband, but not the other way around.

So, if you have anything other than the original 1.0.0 software, your iPhone will throw an error.

However, there is a way. But I don't think it will work. It's worth a shot.
