Where to find part time developers?

Hello,

Might you fine people be able to guide me as to where one might find Mac/PC developers who can work on a project part time?

I recently filed a patent app and would like to form a team that could help me get a demo together but I don't need a software engineer [though I would refuse him] I just need competence and skilled thinkers.

Most of the work can probably be done at home and we can xfer files over the web. Eventually though, we would probably have to get together to try the interface program on the actual device so being in SoCal is helpful.

Are you going to try using Craigslist or other traditional job-posting sites?

Are you looking for separate Mac and PC developers or someone who can help you with both at once (so you'd need only one person)?

It would be nice to find a combo developer [if he was proficient at both that is] because he could talk the same language as the other softie I have working on it now.

Ideally, I think it would be nice to have a developer that knew both and could bring his creative mac side to the development of the PC side. With his knowledge of both worlds, he would be able to offer guidance or direction to the development that would ease the port to the mac side when and if that became necessary.

You see, the invention was conceived of as something that would be licensed to OEMs for inclusion in their electronic devices but does not preclude standalone products from 3rd parties [aftermarket developers] based on the technology. I believe that a demo alone would be enough to start picking up OEM's but since you can never really predict how successful a demo is going to be, I have to remain open to having to bring this to market ourselves.

So to answer the question, it would be preferrable but not absolutely neccessary. I just know that as a Mac person, I hate seeing some of the really neat programs only available to the PC side and want to see if there is anything I can to NOT to forget the Mac side.
