Where to get icons

Where can I get some hard rive icons? I would like to get those desktop icons that almost look like they float instead of the boring flat icons Apple gives us.
 
It's not very hard to create your own icons out of any image or piece of artwork by making png files with an app such as GIMP.
 
there used to be a forum for mac icons
, can't recall off hand. anyone can think of it?
