Where to get iphone cheaper?

Hey I was just wondering if there is any place to get a cheaper iphone 3gs? I currently have one but my fiance wants one and does not have an upgrade. I looked around a little but to no success..

If any one can please guide me to some places where i can get an iphone 3GS for reasonable prices (around $199-$399) I think she said she can get it from att for $399 so I want to see if there is any cheaper. Don't need the plan just the phone itself.

I did a local search on Craigslist.org and there's a lot of cheap, used phone/ipod. There are some that's even jailbroken.

eBay, Craigslist, newspaper, word of mouth.
There isn't a retailer that sells them cheaper than Apple do.

Failing that get one of those awesome looking fake iPhones off eBay for about $50 and just give her that

I don't think you'll be able to get a new in-the-box contract-free iPhone 3GS cheaper than the ATT early upgrade cost. You might be able to pick up a used one on craigslist.

There's a guy in the metro detroit craigslist that has new in box 3G's and 3GS'. Attempt to get in contact with him maybe.

Not sure if this is a route you can go, but what I did to get my 3GS: cancel my current ATT contract ($105 fee (I had the contract for over a yr). Buy new phone for $199 = $299 NEW 16gb 3GS.

this turned out cheaper than if I had used what was my current ATT upgrade.

Thank you, I will actually consider this option. I will see if she wants to go that route.

p.s. I already told her I would just buy it straight out for her, her bday coming soon. She wants earrings that actually cost cheaper...??? I would of said hell yeah give me the phone. so l'll see what she wants to do.
