I have been making some Jaku icons to complete my springboard theme. I have been using http://iextract.quadrat4.de/ to get most of the artwork to use, which is good.

The only issue I am having is I can't find the art for some apps I use.

For example this app. Maybe it's because it's on the Australian AppStore?

Does anyone have any suggestion for what I can do to get the artwork to make the icon?

Thanks.

I'm at work right now, but I'll RDP home to find an IPA to see if i can find a solution for you...

Do you use windows or mac?

It was quite easy, this would work no matter what OS you use. Install support for opening rar file (i dont like zip, you can try that as well if you cant be asked to install support for rar files)

Copy the IPA file out to (lets say) your desktop
Rename it to (lets say) whatever.rar
extract the archive
enter the extracted folder, then go into the Payload folder

Now on mac, right click the app and show package contents, there is all the icons +++ much more

If your on windows, just open the something.app folder, and tada.

If you have troubles finding the IPA file, find it in iTunes, and right click and "Show in Finder". Then copy it to your desktop so you dont ruin anything

That gives me the small sized icons. I am looking for high res icons like this.

If you have anything to view your iDevice filesystem, go to the app in /user/Applications/<APP>/iTunesArtwork

Copy the iTunesArtwork to your computer or save it to your camera roll (if you copy it you will have to rename it to .jpg).

If you don't then a just as simple option is to open the .ipa with whatever, and copy the iTunesArtwork from there and rename it with .jpg.

They are all 512x512

Google Image search the name of the app.

Set the size specifications to 512x512

Bam.
