Here is the cheapest I could find on Newegg 103.99 for 1 (So about $208 for 2) the reviews seem to like it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208323 Not sure how the manufacturers warranty is though. (30 day refund policy and 90 day replacement policy from newegg though)

If you wanted to get the 2 sticks together then (If you don't know newegg, Newegg is the most reliable and fast companies I have ever bought something online off of, and most of the time they are the cheapest, I trust them more then Amazon) there are 2 good options:

1) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231135 (No reviews yet but Newegg offers a 30 day return policy and 1 year replacement policy on this one) all for $234

2) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820144066 (The reviews seem to like this one but it only has a 90 day replacement policy) for $260 with a $60 rebate so if you have the patience $200.

Some other decently priced sticks are Here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820178176

Thumbs down for transintl

Transintl is having a weekend special right now. $208 for 4GB for MacBook Pros. I'm assuming it's the MBP in your sig right? Newegg is great, but in this case Transintl (or OWC if they're having a special) would be your best deal. Guaranteed Mac compatible and lifetime warranty too.

I don't have a very good experience with transintl. Their customer service is quite lousy. It took more than one week before they actually shipped the memory, which they had in stock. They had a problem, but did no effort to compensate for the inconvenience on my part .

Thumbs down transintl and I suggest to pay more and get a good and appropriate service.

I prefer OWC myself, or Newegg if the price is right and the quality isn't bad. Never used Transitl myself, but they advertise on a trusted site. Thank you for sharing the experience though. Makes me think twice before using them in the future.

try crucial.com they seem to have the best prices for RAM with free shipping

... No?

Crucial wants ~$294 for a 4GB kit. Try again!

OWC still wants $230 for their house-brand RAM.

Frys almost always has the best prices on SO-DIMMs, though they haven't restocked lately :(

It's back-ordered, not sure how long it'll be until they get it in stock, but $176 (for two w/ shipping) is the best price you'll get anywhere. Not to mention it's good-name OCZ ram :]

Don't buy cheap RAM to save a few bucks. Buy from a vendor who guarantees compatibility (Macs are finicky about RAM) and offers a lifetime guarantee. OWC and Data Memory Systems are very reliable.

And before someone jumps in to say "There's no difference" -- we have been hearing scattered reports of problems with some brands, including OCZ and ValueRAM. We don't have enough data yet to say whether it is higher than the usual DOA failure rate. However, I always recommend buying RAM from a seller who is willing to test and guarantee Mac compatibility of your purchase.
