Ok, I know most of you will say ebay, but im not sure about it considering the seller fees are sky high. Has anyone ever heard of ebid? I know I could go to craigslist but I don't know if many people in my are know how to fix iPhone 2g's. any other sites for selling broken iPhones?

this is the first time i've heard of ebid. how does it compare with ebay? would it fetch a higher price there?

Leo LaPorte's podcasts (MacBreak Weekly at least) have started advertising gazelle.com - I haven't used it (and I'm not affiliated with it in any way) so I can't say how good it is or how good the prices you get for it are. Don't expect anything out of the ordinary for a broken iPhone. I checked the price for a poor condition, 8GB 2G iPhone that doesn't make calls and it suggested $30.

In the UK there are companies such as Mazuma Mobile (http://www.mazumamobile.com).

They pay cash for phones.

A broken 2G iPhone gives you about £70. Is there anything like that in the USA you could consider?

HTH

EDIT: Just seen the previous poster and gazelle.com looks to be the same - Looks like the UK gives you more for a bust iPhone than the US :D

cashforiphones.com

i just saw that website and they said with a damaged lcd I will get $120! should i jump at it?:)

radioshack

go to radioshack. they will give you credit towards a new phone. they will give up to 100 something for original iphone
