I bought a C2D last week, now that i got both synced up I need to find a good owner for my 15.4 Core Duo / 80GB / 2GB ram. And whats the 'market' value for it.

Its nice having 2 MBP's but its silly.

eBay and Craigslist are popular options, but be very careful to look out for scammers. As for the value, check out completed auctions in eBay to see what similar machines have gone for.

Why did you upgrade from the CD to the C2D MBP? I'm not questioning your purchase or anything...I'm just curious because personally I don't see the it being much of an upgrade...

I suppose you could also sell it on eBay....I usually use my computer until they aren't worth much anymore, so I don't end up selling them (or they go to family members or friends for nothing/next to nothing).

i would say you could get between 1600 and 1800 for it, depending on where you go. eBay is usually good for snagging a higher price than somewhere like MR but you have to watch out for scammers.

i have no basis for the price range, but i wouldn't pay more than 1800 for a CD MBP, even with 2GB of RAM.

Spur of the moment purchase. I just like having x64 processor so that I can run Vista x64, maybe run some games in x64 mode. But no working drivers yet for my curiosity.

I did get a great deal on it.

I figure i wouldn't be losing much money on it.

I think if i got $1700 on it I be happy.

Fair enough...I was just wondering what feature or difference the C2D has that the CD doesn't that screamed at you "BUY ME NOW!" hehe....

I know how it is though...things like that can happen. :)
