Last I heard merom MBPs were gonna drop sometime early september. But as of late I havn't seen any discussion about Merom on this forum nor on many other Apple sites. What gives? Have I been misinformed, or are people just laying low until the release?

I had my thread locked in a flash because it was duplicative of several others. There are quite a few Merom threads out there

That and I think alot of the people that were posting the Merom threads were tired of getting bashed because they sure did. Really there we thousands of newbs posting Merom posts about the same thing worded differently, so they always got responses like "Do a search!!!" or "Not another merom

There isn't any because Merom is just an incremental upgrade over Yonah.
