Hello!

I recently installed my Wacom tablet and it's working fine, but the Ink feature of Mac OS X seems to be a little dodgy. I activated handwriting recognition but for the life of me I can't get the InkPad to appear.

Any ideas? It's very frustrating, I'm not used to an Apple being so difficult!

The Ink Preferences window doesn't appear to have a Show Ink checkbox. I've looked under all tabs (Settings, Gestures, Word Lists) and in the "Options..." window.

Is this where is should be? It's weired coz the help file also says I should check this button, but it isn't where it says it is!?

It's in the main panel... right underneath the font selection.

that's really strange! my preferences window looks just like that, except it doesn't have those two checkbox options!?!

What version of OS X do you have? perhaps this was a bug they've since fixed. Mine is 10.2.4.

Perhaps there is a shorcut key as an alternative to the checkbox?

thanks again!! :))

I tried to update last night with the System Update thingy. Unfortunately I am on a 56k with a 4 hour cut-off limit, so I can never stay on long enough to download the 100MB update. Is there a stand-alone setup file I can download from a site (and therefore resume when download is broken)?

never mind that. System Update is alreay resuming from where it left off :)

thanks so much for your help btw. really appreciated
