Where's my Mail animation?

Does anyone remember the demo of the Mail app in the iPad commercial?

It appears around 16sec, with the user tapping 3 emails which then slide out to the right. That function doesn't appear to have made it into the shipping version. Not that it's a deal breaker or anything, but does anyone know if that UI feature is something that can be enabled?
