I’m generally always an OS or two behind. Don’t relish the headache. I want things to stabilize. I’m still on Catalina, the OS that came with my Mac Pro 7,1. As far as I can tell all the apps I need are going to be find.

But now I run into my common problem. Where is it? Monterey is the one in the apps store. If someone can point me to the OS install I’d greatly appreciate it! Thank you.

macOS Big Sur 11

Links for other macOS versions in the App Store

Big Sur can be downloaded directly as InstallAssistant.pkg, that unpacks as Install macOS Big Sur.app in /Applications/

For me didn't work the Apple link because it opens SoftwareUpdate and tells that the update is not available and try to push Monterey
But I was able to download it through MrMacintosh
Thanks!
