Hi!
It doesn’t look like the graphite iPhone 13 pro (and pro max) is getting a lot of love this year.
To me, it fits very nice with my space gray MacBook Air, space gray iPad Pro 12,9 space gray iPad mini 2021 and space black titanium Apple Watch series 7 (which in itself is a good reason to love the graphite phone).
Slap on a black case when you go out, and you have a classic, timeless look.
Searching YouTube and other sites for reviews/unboxings/videos/images, about 90% or more seems to be focusing on the sierra blue.
And yes, sierra blue is the “new kid on the block” this year, and quite a beauty in itself (I own both the sierra blue and the graphite PM myself, so I know first hand).
And with this year’s graphite being the exact color of last year, it may not be so exciting anymore.
But, I just wanted to see if there are any other graphite lovers besides me out there.

✋? I will admit after seeing the Sierra Blue in person, that really is a nice color. What I saw on the website, other photos before pre-order showed it more "Light / Powder Blue" Not a great example of what its really is in person. (What I saw in stores was muted, more of a light gray..perhaps that is just Apple Store lighting) Just like last year, I had Graphite, saw Pacific Blue in person and traded it in for that.

Whatever the case, my phone DOES stay in a case...so the color is pretty much hidden.
Cases all work with this also.

Black, Graphite, Space Gray has always been my goto color since 2010 iPhone 4...again last year being the change for once. I'm happy with it, glad I DID pre-order it and not waited 1-2 weeks like I planned, it seems impossible to find these now - or just need darn good timing and luck with stock so depleted.

*Also hard to believe it's already been 4 weeks since launch day.

Quite honestly, you cannot go wrong with either. If your a case person, the versatility of Graphite with just about any color goes without saying. I have personally had both on and off since launch as my luck is not on my side this year on not getting a unit without marked up camera lenses or some kind of screen issue I just couldn't justify. Sierra Blue caught me off guard after first having it in hand as I was totally turned off by how it was pictured during the lead up to launch. Much different in person and changes tone in various lightning. As much as I enjoy the change of pace from usually whatever darker color model is offered, I tend to want to gravitate back to Graphite for whatever reason. Its definitely the safer bet but nothing is wrong with that. I always steer clear of Silver just for the simple fact of how easy those sides get marked up. So we will see what color I ultimately end up with but both are great IMO.

Still waiting for Graphite 13 Pro Max to arrive. I’ve always went for Space Gray/Black, but stepped out of the box for the XS Max with Gold. Gold is nice, but it’s something about the blacks and dark grays that I can’t resist .

My 13 Pro Max is Graphite. Black is my favorite color, so I always get black (or gray) phones (and black cases and accessories). There has only been twice that I considered an iPhone in another color: the green iPhone 5C and the green iPhone 11 Pro Max. Also, I agree with @PhillyGuy72 about the Sierra Blue; I went into an AT&T store the other day to check out their sales and the woman helping me showed me her Sierra Blue. It looks so much better in person. It's a very subtle, muted blue.

I ordered a silver 13 Pro yesterday through my carrier and it'll arrive Monday. I think that color looks fantastic, but now I am worried about its potential for scratches. Do all the other colors not really scratch much at all- equal in toughness to the color on the aluminum of the non-pro iPhones?

Got mine yesterday. It’s my first “ black” iPhone since the iPhone 3GS or 4s days. Lol.excuse the camera bump protector. Photo taken by iPotato.

I can't speak for the Non-Pro phone durability but from the Pro models the Silver hands down is the most vulnerable. I would say give it a test run though....you have 14 days to return it and you will see first hand if it works for you or not. I knew very early on it was not for me but everyone is different. If Silver is your thing, there is someone on here that put a clear skin or something along the outside which I assume helps a lot.

I have a graphite!! I love it. It's my first "black" phone since my very first iPhone. My last 3 were gold. Definitely a welcome change. Looks slick! especially with a nice black case on it!

That’s your job to open it not hers….instant return!! It has someone else’s finger prints on it 😂
You know what the irony was ? She said they have to insert the sim to make sure it’s working so customer isn’t offline when leaving store. . Guess what it wasn’t working , because my old sim was still is active- popped old sim when I got home all good. Completely pointless exercise. They did the same at a different Best Buy when mrs picked her sierra blue a week or so ago. And guess what , same scenario. The old sim that was almost discarded was and still is active.
Until recently I’d always open my own phones. But lately since the 12 pro max and damaged out of the box iPhones. I wasn’t too bothered about it.
