Where's the setting for the digital compass?

Hi

I just opened the maps application and I noticed I had a digital compass like on the 3GS.

I was turning the iPad around and my location on the screen was rotating in realtime. I closed the app down and tried it again, but can't seem to get it back. I don't remember having set any option anywhere.

The circle next to the contacts button toggles from off>current location>compass>off.

Found it !

You have to press the 'my location' button twice.

Just double tap the crosshair GPS icon on the menu bar and it shows the compass orientation.
