Has anyone heard if/when we're getting an update for the slingbox app for the iPhone 4? I'm also surprised there hasn't been an app released for the iPad....that would be an awesome app for that device.

I had contact to SlingMedia support asking if they have any plans on enabling multitasking in the SlingPlayer. The answer was, that there were currently no plans for that.
But then again, what does a supporter now? Well, we've often seen that they are not fully informed.

I agree...iPad and at least audio background support would be killer additions. They have a few requests threads on the Sling site...maybe we can nag them into some quality updates.
