Where's the supposed dashboard?

Hey guys,

what happened to the mac os styled dashboard feature on iOS 5? was it left out?
 
i think its a melange of the dashbaord and notification centre that you get when you swipe down from the top of the iphone

theres widgets like weather and stocks running, as well as calendar reminders. its all configurable in settings.
