There's simply no way to answer your question.
No one knows the answer.

The best thing you can do is to "treat the display with care".
That means:
- keep your fingers from touching it, even when opening/closing
- clean it only with water or a very mild cleaner, and ONLY when absolutely necessary
- DO NOT apply pressure when cleaning screen, just a "light touch".
- Use a soft cloth and "dust it" across the screen to remove dust -- NO PRESSURE.

Again, there is NO WAY to know or predict that your display will have the problem.
All you can do is "wait and see" -- like the rest of us.

Thanks for your answers,

It seems like I should take care of it like a super car :D

I had a late 2013 13" for 3 years. I cleaned the screen regularly with a dry microfiber cloth, where I did apply some pressure to get rid of some of the stains. I did not have any issues with staingate. So, in my experience, if you just take normal care of the screen it should be fine.

Do the early 2015 rMBP suffer from this as well? I just bought a refurbished unit from Apple.
