First of all I hate how they don't view the insides.

Second I would only go with "messenger bag"-style if I would get a very slim and light bag which will only carry the laptop.

For anything else get a real back pack since messenger bags hurts your shoulders so much if you cary a little more weight and will be doing that for some time.

Wenger seems to make very nice back packs and I will probably get one of those.

I also like the look of the Booq Folee XL not sure if its too business for me, i prefer the more casual look
 
I don't know if you want to spend this much, but here is a very nice one. They carry it at The Apple Store on Regent Street and a number of other places.

Have a crumpler sticky date myself, find it very small though don't use it much. Plenty of pockets though.
 
does a 17" fit in a 15" crumpler? I seem to be able to get my mbp in my gfs 15" laptop bag no worries. anyone actually got a 15" bag and put a 17" mbp in it?
