Hi all. I am interested in getting the 2017 iMac. My primary uses are for photography and video. I shoot RAW and use Capture One PRO, Affinity Photo and Topaz Studio. For my videos, at some point I plan on purchasing FCP. Right now I shoot and edit my videos on my iPad. I have an Ezio ColorEdge CS2730, so I would need to hook it up to the new iMac. (Beautiful display BTW). I am looking at either the 21.5" or the 27".

The 21.5" iMac 4K, with 3.6 GHz quad-core 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.2GHz, 16GB 2400MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro 560 with 4GB video memory and 512GB SSD.

OR

The 27" iMac 5K with 4.2GHz quad-core 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.5GHz, 16GB 2400MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro 575 with 4GB video memory and 512GB SSD.

Which model should I go with? I am planning on keeping it for 5-7 year, maybe longer.

Also what about the chips? i5 or i7? I've read the i5 is cooler. Will I notice a speed difference between 3.6GHz i7 and the 4.2GHz i7? And what's the difference between the Radeon Pro Pro 560 and 575?

Thoughts?

Thanks for your advice. Much appreciated.
