which 7 inch android tablet has the best screen?

I'd like a 7inch tablet and was holding out for the iPad mini 2, but as the release date seems to be getting pushed back, I thought I'd explore other alternatives. The key criteria for me are screen quality (I read lots of pdfs/ books and I've been spoiled by my retina iPad) and android (the other operating system I'm interesting in besides iOS, and I have an android phone that I'm happy with). I don't want the current iPad mini because I don't think the screen is good enough.


Suggestions?

The nexus 7 screen is significantly sharper than the ipad mini, however colors are more muted. The ipad is much better in terms of lag though.

I like either the Nexus 7 or Galaxy Tab 2, used both and they are very good 7" tablets

The Galaxy tab 7.7 was far superior to the Tab 2. I would have kept mine but it was too slow.

The Tab 2 is the current one but has a regular LCD screen. The 7.7 has a OLED screen that blows the Tab 2 and iPad mini away.
