I run an active HDMI to DisplayPort cable from the back of my CKLau-622TH-M KVM switch to the Dell monitor. As far as I know, at this point it works because my second MacBook Pro M1 Max works fine without the CalDigit TS3 Plus docking in between.

On my second MacBook Pro M1, I run a DisplayPort to HDMI cable from the CalDigit to the back of the KVM switch's HDMI out port. At this point is where my MBP does not recognize the monitor. Which of the following cable do I need?

  1. Active DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter
  2. Active 4K HDMI to Displayport 1.2 Converter Adapter Cable
I'm confused as to which direction I need the adapter/cable to be. Active HDMI to DisplayPort or vice versa. Does it matter which way?

Thank you.
