Hi, I am looking for an app which gives accurate weather forecast especially likelihood of rain in 15 minutes time. Additional features such as integration with calendar and notifications are nice but not necessary. How is Fresh Air and Carrot Weather? I read that although Dark Sky has been getting good reviewers from reviewers, real users mentioned that it was accurate few years ago but not anymore.

I have tried several weather apps over the years, and none are particularly accurate. Here in England, the weather changes quickly, but I guess it is a limitation of forecasting. Weather forecasts seem no better today than they were decades ago.

No matter; it must be hard predicting the complex forces that create weather, and its changeability keeps us on our toes.

You can try Storm which is from Weather Underground which has usually been fairly good. I think Dark Sky has mostly been based on www.forecast.io which has been seen as fairly accurate, at least in the past.

Based on your experience, how the three apps I mentioned ranked?

I use accuweather. As stated, none are just "perfect" but this one works the best for me.
