Which app to backup?

I just need to backup a few selected folders onto an external drive, basically I have photo app and library on the computer and photo archive on external drive and want to back it all up onto another external drive, was using the LaCie provided app, Intego pro something until a while ago but it's not usable any longer, looking for an easy and cost effective solution, copy from A and B to C, that is it, any hint?

If you're just copying specific files and folders. I'd use Freefilesync. Setting it to mirror instead of two way.
