Well, I have a ton of applications that I use on a regular basis, and I'm kinda curious to what others out there use. Tell us what you use on a regular basis, and if the name of the application is not self explanatory, then maybe just post a few details about it. I'll start...

- Facebook
- Meebo (Instant messaging. I use to use eBuddy, but I love the push notification from Meebo, and how your account stays logged in all the time)
- TweetDeck
- TSN Mobile
- Evernote (Allows you to take notes, and once you click 'save' it automatically updates to their website. So you can check them on a computer at home. Or you can do the opposite and post an essay on Evernote from your computer, and read it/edit it from your phone. I love it.)

Well, those are the applications I use the most. I'm looking for a good daily planner, and have yet to come to that one special one which I can use everyday. I've used a few, but never found that right one.

Anyways, now it's your turn. What are your favorite applications?

apps

with regards to games I play iTurnU alot, which is not only a fun game, but also helps me to stay in shape, since you must move to control to the game (much like playing a wii game)

Pocket Informant. I'm an ESL teacher that has students coming at irregular times. PI is great in monthview with it's timebars, as it allows me to quickly see what my days schedules look like, who I haven't scheduled yet, and it includes the few todos I need to do as well. Events sync to Gcal and Todos sync to Toodledo. All info backed up.

Other apps I use a lot of course include Safari and Mail, but third party apps I use daily; Alarm Clock Pro, Facebook, Tweetie, Instapaper, Fluent News, TIME mobile, Wisdom English-Japanese Dictionary, Oxford Deluxe, Flashcards Deluxe, and iKanji Touch.

I have games that come and go. A couple of mainstays are Uniwar, Lexic, and Galcon. Current favorites are Plants vs Zombies, Inotia 2, and Final Fantasy.

As far as apps I've added myself, I most use, in no particular order:

AOL Radio
Chess.com
Dictionary
White Pages
i.TV
Pandora
CNN
USA Today
IMDB
ESPN ScoreCenter
THN (The Hockey News)
Urban Spoon
WolfGang's Vault
CNET
Scrabble
RedLaser

Best App by Far for me is "Around Me"
It is an app that quickly locates whatever you want in your nearest area.

If your in town and need the nearest cash point - Around Me
If your out of petrol and you need the nearest petrol station - Around Me
If your wondering where the nearest DIY shop is - Around Me

It shows you all the options on a map that also locates your possition and has contact details for most results. I'm in the UK and it's amazing!

I've used that application a few times also. It's great.

A few more apps that I used that I didn't mention above are:

- Alarm Clock
- WhatsApp
- Flixter
- Google
- Shazam (Except I can't use this till next month because I didn't realize you only get 5 tries with the free version. It's very useful though)
- Yelp (It's kinda like "Around Me" but I like it more.)

* QuickVoice2Text Email (PRO Recorder)
* Awesome Notes (paid version)
* Shazam
* PhotoStudio
* Amazon
* Google
* Pandora

iFooty (UK football fixtures/results)
Met Office
TV Guide (UK TV programme listings)
Radio Paradise
Around Me

Old thread, my list is slightly outdated, bored, thus updating.

[app]Pocket Informant[/app] - the latest build introduced lots of bugs that actually affected me, so I am relying a lot more on [app]SaiSuke[/app] for creating appointments, PI still my go-to for checking my schedule, and I trust the developer to fix all bugs.

[app]UniWar[/app] still, love it despite people getting unfair advantages due to early quitters or the occasional cheater.

Wisdom English Japanese Dictionary - I live in Japan, the single most useful app on the job. http://itunes.apple.com/jp/app/id284350526?mt=8

[app]Oxford Deluxe[/app] - Comes in very handy when teaching more advanced students of English.

[app]SAS Survival Guide[/app] - great to just read up on basic survival skills, stuff I should know when I go back to Canada and go mushroom hunting or something like that. A few people each year get lost in the great Canadian wilderness.

[app]Reckless Racing[/app] - absolutely love the hot lap racing, great for killing a few minutes.

[app]Samurai II: Vengeance[/app] - awesome graphics and animation, and hands down the best hack'n'slasher out there.
