I have it for the Pro Max and while there is no cutout for the speaker, it doesn't cover the speaker, just the metal rim of the phone.
Also Pro Max. Glad your Speck fits! Wish I'd taken a photo, but I posted the case back to the store last night.

Just received the Pitaka MagEZ Case 3 and hoo-boy is it good. Wasn’t excited to spend 60 USD on a case, but it’s exactly what I was looking for. Looks especially nice with Space Black phones, as the dark frame has some exposure (while still being pretty well protected). Magnetic force seems as strong/a bit stronger than just the phone or with the Apple leather case, which is pretty remarkable considering how thin it is. Fits so well that I don’t need the shim stickers. My only complaint, and it’s very minor: There is a slight manufacturing variance on the bottom right corner, which doesn’t quite roll over the top edge of the phone like the others do. (I don’t think a normal person would notice.) Great product!

I love the thinness of Pitaka cases and that you can see parts of the frame. I’m going for this same case with my gold pro. I’ll post pictures when it arrives!

Here is the Umber case on my gold pro. I love the combination, but I’m still trying to get used to a non-black case lol

100% agree! And for a minimal case it seems like it would provide decent protection from those corner drops. I also ordered the Totallee clear hard case, which should also show the frame, but through the plastic. Hard to beat this one, though. It’s very good

For the Sheath, is the camera lip high enough to protect the cameras while the screen is facing up? That's my main concern since I constantly slam my phone when putting it down.

I've come to the conclusion that my personal trifecta of cases are Apple leather case, Pitaka Mag (thin aramid) and using the phone naked.

Maybe one cheap tougher case for any camping, hiking, etc activities. But yeah, naked, Apple leather and Pitaka is the only rotation I end up on.

PSA post for those also shopping ultrathin/minimal cases. None of these were as thin as I was looking for/as thin as the Pitaka. However, if you’re just looking for ‘kinda thin’ with full coverage and protective lips, any of these three may be good, relatively inexpensive options.

Got gear4 denali case, fit it great, case is light and grip is good due to textured back, offers good lip around the front, camera and drop protection. However, it does attract fingerprints. Overall, I will keep this for a while. Also it is MagSafe.

I'm surprised why Gear4 has very few YouTube videos, they are Slim with good drop protection, much better than caudabe IMO.

Thanks for this. I was looking at these as a more minimalist option and wondered how they compared to the Pitaka. I went ahead and ordered the Pitaka. I'm excited to try it out.

I had the Torras clear case and it felt bulky like the Spigen case I had. The best combo I’ve found that’s thin is using a clear bumper and glass back protector. It almost feels like I’m not using a case.

Can you recommend the brand of this combo?

my apologies if you've already answered this. does the MagSafe connection still work with the back glass protector? if so, is there any signs of a weaker connection? tia
