Silver. I do like bright colors and wanted to encourage them by getting orange but I kept my 13PM for 4 years and plan to keep this one a while too. I'd like to be able to change the aesthetic every so often to keep it feeling fresh, so silver seemed like the best choice because I could use any color of case with it in the future.

After watching Apple event, I decided to go with Cosmic Orange but one of my friend who bought Orange says go for Silver, he already started to feel bored & I changed my mind to go with Silver and happy with my decision.
I went with blue because I put mine in a case, and I wanted the combo to be stealthy. While stark differences in colors can be awesome and work well for others, I wanted a more subtle look.
Was going to get the blue, but they only had silver & orange in the Pro max at the time. Purchased the silver.
That's all you see in most social media post but honestly the blue and silver are safe and probably easier to sell if you decide to in the future.
It is funny because in the initial “what are you going to get” thread cosmic orange was the winner by far. Our data set is too small to really draw conclusions but it does look like people were initially attracted to the flashiness and “newness” of the orange but then maybe reconsidered based on how it would pair with accessories and outfits versus the two more versatile colors, as happened to me.

Bought the orange 17 Pro Max. Love the color. Knew without a doubt that it is going to be my choice as soon as I heard the rumors regarding the colors. Very happy that there is a bright colored option for Pro iPhone this year.
Yes, colours are a personal choice & if you’re with happy with the colour, should not be think about what others says ..

Each color this year has a drawback. I'm amazed they managed to pull that off .

Honestly, I think the silver works well with this phone. The frosted glass gives some contrast.
Yes. Love colors and hope Apple brings colors to all the devices. Colors on iMac are beautiful. Wish there is at least one nice color every year (and for iPad and MacBook too). Rumors about purple and burgundy on 18 Pro is great to hear.
