Which configuration for MM

I will order the MM with , I7 and Fusion Drive 1 TB.

Is it worthwhile to buy the 2.6Ghz for the extra €100 ?

Using FCP X and Aperture , i,m not playing any games.

I will upgrading the RAM to 16 Gb by my self .

I got the 2.6 with base memory and drive, and upgraded to 16gb crucial memory and samsung 830 256gb ssd myself.

Saved a bunch

Chances are, if you need to ask, you won't notice a difference. Although if you do a lot of editing it will shave off the seconds.

Working fine, getting around 13000 on Geekbench, and bootup times improved from about 1m20s to sub 15s.

Heres my drive speed test

I dont work with anything more processor intensive than Safari at the moment, but at least I have the option should I choose to over the next few years
