Im listing any games that are playable or not playable in which settings and through how, my aluminum macbook is the 2.4 Ghz model with 4GB RAM .4 ghz doesnt make such a difference, so onto the games.

WoW(world of warcraft) : Settings : Highest on any setting possible.
Graphics: 9/10
Lags/Delays : None.

The game runs smoothly on any area even in populated areas and got 30fps lowest in Any City.

Counter Strike Source(through Crossover):
Settings: Highest settings possible with bloom effect.
Graphics :10/10
Lags/Delay: 8/10 using cross over it lags a little.

Age of Empires 3:
Settings : the settings were set to high with no AA on 1280x 800 resolution
Graphics : 8/10
Lags/Delay: None. Unless settings were set higher than high.

Company of Heroes:
Dont even try it on the mac os. use Xp or Vista to play it.

Call of Duty 4:
Settings : Most settings were set to medium except texture put on high and other settings.i also put the resolution to 1024 to not get lag on multiplayer.
Lags/Delays: i would recommend playing this on vista as the DirectX10 will help it to put settings on high and still play smooth.
*Note if only played on single player settings could be set to play on high with 1024 and would not get any delay.

Later on i will post up more games, if anyone needs to find out about a game reply on this thread and i will try to get it as fast as i could.

Note****** found out something interesting, in Windows Xp your Vram gets increased to 512, so if you have alot of ram (4 gb or higher than 2 gb) than you should think about getting windows xp for gaming :).

How about...

How about Neverwinter Nights 2 and Fallout 3? I was thinking of buying those...

Fallout 3 needs alot of graphics but from what i can see you can most likely play it on medium or lowest settings with 1024. but again it requires alot of graphics so you wont get that great of graphics when you use time freeze in complicated scenes. (btw play on Xp most likely you will be able to play on it on medium if not high settings with the added 256 vram.)

il try out neverwinter later but most likely highest settings :)

from what i can see from ^ if you play that on bootcamp xp you'll be able to play it on max reso with max settings.

I play games in Crossover (don't have a copy of Windows) and I play Half Life 2, along with Episodes 1 & 2 very well. Also Team Fortress 2 runs very well on mid-ish settings with lots of people playing on Crossover, so I imagine in Bootcamp it should be pretty good too!

Really? Sounds interesting. Could you post some proof?
Thanks

My review of the Mac version is here.

I have uninstalled my Mac version and have no intention of playing it again on the Mac. I have it installed on BootCamp with both the Mask of the Betrayer (some of the best writing since Planescape: Torment) and Storm of Zehir (really cool new features but lame story) ... it runs *much* better under Windows. Oh, and there is no simple way to get the expansions working as there was with the original NWN.
