which handbrake setting?

I am using HB 9.1, which does not have universal setting. Will video look good if I encode for apple tv and play on iphone, or am I better using iphone setting and watching on tv. I will be using both. Thanks!

well, if you mean trying to watch an appletv preset video on the iPhone, it won't work. iPhones do not support bframes.

Thanks dyna. Maybe I will pick up a new mac in the near future. Is there any way to differentiate between an iphone encode and an apple tv encode if I have both in itunes? Just tag them different?

use the ipod hi-res preset and bump up the bitrate. there's an old thread around here which discusses the hybird setting to use for ipod/iphone and atv. it's what i was using prior to the universal preset and it worked great for me.
