I am trying to determine which hard drive option is best for me.
I will be getting the 17" mbp High Res., (putting in 4gb of RAM), the hd options I'm looking at are the 160gb 7200, or the 250gb 4200.
I am going to be running the following software:
OSX (naturally)
iWork, iLife, sketchup pro 6 (mac), bryce (mac), CS3, office 2004, parallels, autocad 2008, form z, revit and basic browsing.
So it comes down to size vs. speed... (I do have a 300gb external so I could go with the smaller drive)
Would I be better off, with the apps I am using, to go for the faster drive or would I not realize any great advantage and should rather go for more space?
any thoughts/suggestions?
